1. Authorized Use Only

This portal is intended solely for licensed bail bond agents authorized by Palmetto Surety Corporation. It provides secure access to view Risk Allocation Fund balances, retrieve statements, and submit payments. Unauthorized access or use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

 

2. Nature of the Fund

RAF is a fiduciary-managed, pooled risk fund, not a bank deposit, escrow, or investment product. Contributions are not held in segregated accounts and may be used to fulfill the obligations of other participants. Funds are not FDIC insured, are not guaranteed by Palmetto Surety Corporation or any governmental entity, and may be subject to loss due to the shared-risk structure of the fund.

 

3. Confidentiality and Portal Activity

All information accessed via this portal is confidential and proprietary. Users agree not to share, reproduce, or disseminate any content without prior written authorization. Portal usage is logged and monitored for security, auditing, and compliance purposes.

 

4. Agent Responsibilities

• Maintain a non-negative ledger balance.
• Replenish deficiencies upon notice.
• Review statements monthly and report discrepancies within ten (10) business days.
• Ensure all contact and payment information remains current.

5. Refund Policy

All payments made through this portal are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Overpayments or balance adjustments will be applied as credits unless otherwise requested in writing and approved.

 

6. Disclaimers

• RAF is not a financial institution or investment service.
• No interest or investment return is earned on fund contributions.
• Participation is limited to agents in good standing with Palmetto Surety Corporation.
• Use of the portal constitutes acceptance of these terms and the RAF Terms and Conditions of Participation.

7. Limitation of Liability

Palmetto Surety Corporation is not liable for damages arising from use of, or inability to use, this portal. The portal is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

 

8. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute shall be subject to binding arbitration or, if necessary, legal action exclusively in Charleston County, South Carolina.

 

9. Modifications

Palmetto Surety Corporation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the portal constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
